Etichetta Verde

Vermentino is the grape of choice in our territory. The wine it yields is generally soft, delicate and saline. When the vine is allowed to grow naturally, the wine will show a rich minerality and an abundance of fermentation aromas. For this richness to come through, besides the crucial closeness to the sea, the grapes must be picked at full ripeness, when they turn crisp and take on a golden colour.

On arriving at the winery the grapes are destemmed and brought into a vat where the must and skins remain briefly in contact, and where fermentation begins spontaneously. The wine then matures in its own natural cloudiness. Bottling takes place about nine months after harvest.
